The expert adult testers claimed:
“The Newmero bricks provide a great way of encouraging children to continue their numeracy learning – practising their counting, addition and subtraction and reinforcing their concept of numbers. They are the perfect size for little fingers, as well as being tactile and colourful.
The testers liked the design of the bricks and how you can use them in different ways – stacking them, fitting them together and counting the ridges. The children found the different games you could play were engaging, with this also teaching about taking turns and winning and losing. Younger ones did need adult input for the games, however, our testers found this worked well as a fun and interactive way of practising maths skills.”
